GX-Ware Cash Register

Many of our clients use GX-Ware to record information about their own customers. At Jim's Launderette, each person's washing is recorded separately in the Laundry Page with separate Lines for the numbers of shirts, trousers, suits and other items that Jim is able to clean.

Jim uses the GX-Ware Cash Register to associate a price with each one of these Lines; to make up a bill and finally to print out a receipt. In Jim's case, 2 receipts are in fact printed, one is attached to the laundry bag and the second is given to the customer. As both receipts have a barcode printed on them Jim is able to locate his customer's details either using their receipt, or using the one on the laundry bag.

The GX-Ware Cash Register makes it easy to:

Associate prices with existing Lines in GX-Ware
Rapidly create a bill with only a few clicks
Add additional cash-only items, such as discounts, to your receipt

Whenever the Checkout button is pressed all of the information held in the bill is automatically saved in GX-Ware for the currently selected customer.

This means that any of the GX-Ware Reports can contain references to this data.

After the information is saved the receipt is printed out

Receipts can contain multiple pages that may be automatically cut by your printer.

Jim's laundrette uses this feature; he gives the first page to the customer and attaches the second page to the laundry bag.

The Receipt can contain, text, images, barcodes and most importantly: references to the customer's personal information including the receipt total

GX-Ware Cash Register is now included with GX-Ware and is available as a free download to all existing customers.
